Peyriac de Mer
Peyriac de Mer is a very pretty little village just off of the main N9 road on the D105 on the Etang de Bages et de Sigean. The little square in the centre is where you will find the Cafe du Centre 04 68 41 49 42 which is also a restaurant, in the summer you can sit outside although it does get quite busy. Opposite the cafe is a patisserie and there is a tiny market there too. Sometimes there is a larger market a little further along by the water which sells second hand goods (like a boot fair). This area is especially beautiful and there is an abundance of wildlife if you are interested in bird watching, ie flamingos and other sea birds.
